What is Reel Facts VLT Staff Training?

Reel Facts is a mandatory training program for all VLT retailers and staff who have any involvement with video lottery terminals (VLTs) at their place of work. The program helps VLT retailers, managers and their staff understand the differences between responsible and problem gambling, the myths associated with gambling, and how to provide information to players seeking help.

There is no cost for Reel Facts training.

Haven't received your Reel Facts certificate yet? No problem.

Depending upon how you completed Reel Facts, you can use one of the following methods to obtain temporary proof of successful course completion. This temporary proof is accepted by all AGLC inspectors.

Online students

If you took the online course, simply log on to your Reel Facts account, select "My Account" from the menu, then "Personal Information" from the drop-down menu. The bottom of the sheet will list your Reel Facts exam completion date and can be printed off for your employer. A second copy should be kept on your person while you are at work. AGLC inspectors will accept this print-out as proof of your training.

Self-directed students

If you took your training through the self-directed program, please call 1-877-436-6336 (between the hours of 8:15 am and 4:00 pm) and tell the responding Hotline operator you're calling about the temporary Reel Facts documentation.
